Nwaodu Chukwudi stepped up in the second half, finding the back of the net twice, and propelling the Coal City outfit to a commanding 4-1 triumph at the Awka City Stadium.

The match commenced with a surprising 13th-minute goal by Kano Pillars’ Mohammed Yakubu, sending shockwaves through the home team’s supporters.

The first half eventually concluded in a 1-1 deadlock as Godwin Obaje converted a penalty to pull Rangers International FC back into the game.

During the second half, Isaac Saviour broke the tie, making it 2-1 in the 53rd minute.

However, it was Nwaodu Chukwudi who quickly stole the spotlight, adding two more goals for the Coal City club, thus completing his brace.
