Consequently, Abia Warriors received a fine of N1 million for conduct that disrespected the game and an extra N1 million for inadequate security.
They were also fined N2 million for preventing NPFL broadcast partners from recording, and they must identify the involved official for further punishment.
Rangers International incurred a N1 million fine for their misconduct and must identify their involved officials for additional sanctions.
Abia Warriors received a warning against blocking visiting teams in the future, while both clubs were cautioned of harsher penalties for repeated misconduct.
In the game, Abia Warriors secured a 1-0 victory over Rangers International through Collins Nwoburuoke’s goal. Both clubs have 48 hours to appeal the sanctions.
