Bendel Insurance star Ezekiel Tamara has taken to his social media page to celebrate their recent game where the Benin outfit held their counterparts, Doma United, to draw.
Ezekiel Tamara was thrilled after the final whistle of the rescheduled Match Day Six game that saw Adaaaa Bendel hold Doma United to a goalless draw.
There was absolutely no goal to tell the story after an end-to-end affair at the Pantami Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.
The Savana Tigers were caged in their jungle and shut from roaring as Bendel Insurance picked a valuable away point.
The 23-year-old defensive midfielder, who couldn’t hide his joy after the game, claimed that it was a good result away from home.
Tamara, who pointed out that they play against a strong side, was glad that his team was able to pick up their first point on the road from the Gombe Tigers and will continue to build on the momentum.
The former Kwara United star wrote on his X page (formerly Twitter), saying:
“Good result on the road against a very good side. Our first point on the road. We have to continue building momentum.”
The Benin Arsenal side currently have just two victories from six league games, with two draws and two defeats. They currently sit in seventh place with 11 points, while their hosts remain in 12th with just 8 points.
