In a remarkable performance, Remo Stars players and their Head Coach, Daniel Ogunmodede, have taken the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) matchday three Team of the Week by storm.
The high spirited Sky Blue Stars secured the season’s inaugural away victory, triumphing 2-1 over Bayelsa United in Yenagoa this past weekend.

The NPFL Team of the Week further features talents from various NPFL teams, including Bendel Insurance defender Benjamin Tanimu, Lobi Stars’ Chinedu Sunday, Heartland’s Ezekiel Bassey, Doma United goalkeeper Kingdom Osayi, and the duo of Chijoke Mbaoma and Taofeek Malomo from Enyimba and Shooting Stars, respectively.
The accolades further extended to Remo Stars’ camp as their Head Coach, Daniel Ogunmodede, was rightfully named Coach of the Week, a show of his exceptional leadership and tactical acumen.
Remo Stars’ dominance in the NPFL Team of the Week for matchday three is gradually setting the stage for an exciting season ahead for the team.
They have sent a clear message to their competitors that they are a force to be reckoned with in the 2023/24 NPFL season.
