The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) and PUMA have recently announced an exciting new partnership.
This collaboration designates PUMA as the official technical partner of CAF for various CAF events, including the highly anticipated Africa Cup of Nations in Côte d’Ivoire in 2023.
This partnership will officially commence on November 1, 2023. PUMA will be responsible for supplying the official match ball at CAF tournaments and providing referee kits.
Additionally, the partnership will encompass numerous marketing opportunities, both within and outside the stadiums.
Dr. Patrice Motsepe, the President of CAF, expressed his delight at the collaboration with PUMA, a global leader in sportswear manufacturing.
He emphasized the shared goal of fostering and advancing football in Africa. Bjørn Gulden, CEO of PUMA, shared his pride in becoming CAF’s official technical partner.
He underlined his commitment to the development of African football, firmly believing in the unifying and transformative power of sports.
Gulden also pledged to work closely with CAF to make the Africa Cup of Nations Côte d’Ivoire 2023 a memorable and exceptional tournament.
Meanwhile, the official match ball for the Africa Cup of Nations Côte d’Ivoire 2023 will be unveiled during the Final Draw, scheduled for Thursday, October 12, at 7 p.m., a highly anticipated event for football enthusiasts.
