ADEMOLA LOOKMAN & VICTOR OSIMHEN SCUDETTO RACE
It’s Victor Osimhen vs Ademola Lookman in the Scudetto race. Napoli are currently two points ahead of Atalanta on top of the Serie A table having scored the most goals this season.
Both Super Eagles forwards have been in top form as Osimhen produced three goals and one assist in six league games, he averages 0.77 goal involvement per game. Lookman has had a bright start to life in Bergamo with his third consecutive goal last weekend to make it four goals and three assists in 10 Serie A games. The 24-year-old is averaging 0.88 goal involvement per game.
Ademola Lookman was on target yet again as Atalanta secured a comeback win over Sassuolo to go top of the Serie A standings. He has now scored in three consecutive league games as Atalanta’s unbeaten start to the season continues.
Victor Osimhen came off the bench to score the winner in Napoli’s 3-2 comeback win over Bologna at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. It is now back to back goals since returning from injury from the energetic Nigerian forward.
VICTOR BONIFACE GETTING IN OUR FACES
Victor Boniface has hit the ground running since joining Belgian side Union SG from Bodo Glimt in Norway. He’s had a total of 9 goals contributions in the Belgian Pro League and Europa League respectively since moving in the last summer transfer window. He came off the bench this past weekend at halftime and produced a goal and an assist in Union SG huge 1-6 away win over KV Oostende in the Belgian Pro League. One to keep an eye on surely.
MOSES SIMON ENDS GOAL DROUGT
Moses Simon opened the scoring via the penalty spot as Nantes thrashed Brest 4-1 for their first win in seven matches. The Super Eagles winger who started the season brightly, ended his six-game goalless run for the Canaries to lift them off the relegation zone in Ligue 1. The game did not go as planned for a while, with Fadiga handing Brest an 18th-minute lead and Ludovic Blas missing a penalty for the hosts. Nantes was awarded a second penalty, and an argument followed about who was to take the kick between Moses Simon and Mostafa Mohamed. Simon eventually converted the penalty to even scores for the Canaries.
CYRIEL DESSERS RECORD GOAL
It is now two goals in back to back games for Cyriel Dessers who opened his Serie A account in their previous game at home to Napoli.
The Super Eagles striker built on that and scored a record breaking goal for newly promoted Cremonese as they continue their fight to secure their top flight status in the Italian Serie A.

RASHEEDAT AJIBADE HITS 4
In Spain, Super Falcons forward Rasheedat Ajibade scored four goals as they destroyed Huelva in the Spanish Liga F. Ajibade scored her first in the 28 minute to put Atletico ahead into the break.
The Nigerian scored her second of the game in the second half in the 51st minute. The former FC Robo star then completed her hat trick in the 88th minute and added her fourth in additional time.

Babajide David scored the second goal (his second of the season) in their impressive 1-4 away win. Both forwards have blended and complimented each other so well in Turkey with Babajide David providing the assist for Onyekuru’s goal in their home win over Sivasspor earlier this season.

Frank Onyeka bagged his first-ever Premier League assist as Brentford beat Brighton 2-0 on Friday night, commemorating his 100th Brentford appearance in style. The Super Eagles midfielder was making his first start of the season and first for Brentford since February 9 in a 2-0 defeat to Manchester City.
PAUL ONUACHU FIRES GENK TO TOP
After a slow and an injury hit start to the season, Paul Onuachu is on fire in his last three games for Genk scoring 4 times. His goal today proved crucial as Genk are now top of the table courtesy of his first half strike. The 28-year-old has improved his form in recent weeks having sustained an injury at the start of the season which hindered his performance.
