Olufemi Kayode’s journey to Golden Arrows has been marked by dedication and hardwork. He embarked on his professional football career with Uyo-based NPFL side, Akwa United F.C., before moving to Lobi Stars of Markurdi for a year.
In 2019, he caught the attention of Nigeria’s most successful football club, Enyimba International Football Club of Aba.
During his time with Enyimba, Kayode contributed to their success in the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup, showcasing his abilities on the continental stage.
His football journey also took him to Akure, where he joined Sunshine Stars F.C., his last club in Nigeria.
There, he enjoyed a remarkable run of form with the ‘Akure Gunners’ before his was finally spotted and recruited by Golden Arrows scouts.
