Niger Tornadoes is thrilled to introduce two promising new signings to their squad.
The club has secured Adewale Lasisi, a highly-regarded Nigerian attacking midfielder, and Chidi Ernest, a deep-lying playmaker, for the upcoming season.
Lasisi, previously with Dakkada, has chosen to join Tornadoes on a season-long loan after weighing offers from other NPFL clubs.
Known for his outstanding skills, Lasisi’s transition to Tornadoes follows Dakkada’s relegation from the Nigeria Premier Football League in the 2022/2023 season.
The club states, “We are delighted to announce his commitment to Niger Tornadoes. Join us in extending a warm welcome to Adewale Lasisi.”
In addition, Niger Tornadoes welcomes Chidi Ernest, who joins after a successful stint with Gombe United.
Ernest, despite initially agreeing to a two-year contract with Abia Warriors, chose to unite with Niger Tornadoes.
Chidi Ernest is set to make his debut against Abia Warriors in Umuahia this weekend, where fans will surely be hoping eagerly to grab a glimpse of his skills and contributions.
These exciting signings demonstrate Niger Tornadoes’ commitment to strengthening their squad and competing at the highest level of Nigerian football.
