The young talent’s move from local club Real Sapphire FC to AS Trencin marks the beginning of an exciting new adventure in his promising career.
Sunday’s arrival at AS Trencin was officially announced, with the winger expressing his delight at the warm welcome he received from the club and its fans.
Speaking to the club’s media, he said,
“It’s a very big chance for me. I have been very well received at the club. I also feel very good in the cabin of the first team. I want to give the best to the team and to the fans. I would like to follow the path of Moses Simon.”
Jude added;
“I know that he’s got the chance to become a great player right here. I can say that he is my mentor. But I want to be even better than him. It will not be easy, but it is motivation.”
Jude Sunday has been making waves in Nigerian football circles, and his potential was evident during his time with the Flying Eagles.
He was part of the squad that represented Nigeria in both the 2023 Africa U-20 Cup of Nations and the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
In these competitions, Sunday showcased his skills and talent, netting an impressive four goals in 12 appearances for the Flying Eagles this year.
