Rangers International FC, has proudly introduced Chukwudi Nwaodu as their newly anointed skipper.
The dynamic Midfielder, Nwaodu, stood before the team management and his teammates, promising to steer the team towards its ambitious objectives for the upcoming season and beyond.
Amidst the jubilant atmosphere, Nwaodu shared his excitement upon receiving the mantle of leadership, emphasizing that this honor is a call to elevate his commitment to the squad.
Reflecting on his new role, he asserted;
“I must confess that I was excited when I was called up as the team captain and believe it is a call to service and hope to serve well in my capacity to make sure we take the ‘Flying Antelopes’ to where it rightly belongs.”
Nwaodu articulated his conviction in the collective prowess of his teammates, the sagacious guidance of the management, and the strategic acumen of the coaching staff.
United by a shared purpose, he envisioned a triumphant conclusion to the 2023/2024 football season.
“I am sure that with the caliber of players in the team and the coach known for results, there will be no going back as we push for the best possible finish in both the NPFL and Federation Cup 2024. appeal to my teammates for their total cooperation and believe they are going to support this course while also calling on our teaming supporters to continue to be with us through their prayers and steadfast support during games for us to bring back the glory of our club,” the former Heartland FC of Owerri’ captain noted.
Nwaodu is joined in this historic change of leadership by two impressive loyalists. Chidiebere Nwobodo, who will serve as the first assistant captain, and Chinecherem Ugwueze, who will serve as the second assistant captain.

The departure of former captain Uche John, who moved on to a new adventure with Rivers United when his contract expired, forced the squad to undergo this crucial change in leadership.
Additionally, assistant duo Ebuka Anthony and Ugwuoke Ugochukwu have bid farewell to the team, paving the way for this fresh constellation of leadership to guide the destiny of Enugu Rangers.
