Former Super Eagles player Odion Ighalo has continued from where he left off in the Saudi Arabian League, finding the back of the net in his debut game for his new club, Al Wehda.
The Nigerian international is proving why he’s highly rated in the Middle East, as it took him just six minutes into his debut to grab a goal for Al Wehda.
The Nigerian forward, who only featured for four minutes, inspired his new team. to a 3-0 win on Thursday during the Saudi Pro League Match Day 3 clash against Al Tai.
The forward is up and running for the season, as he capped off the scoring in a dominant away win for Al Wehda.
Fayçal Fajr produced Al Wehda’s opening goal at the Prince Abdul Aziz bin Musa’ed Stadium through a spot kick with just 11 minutes to the interval.
Saeed Al Mowalad doubled the lead 17 minutes into the second half of the game.
The 34-year-old Nigerian star scored six minutes after coming on as a substitute to seal their win over AL Tai in the Saudi Premier League.
