The Nigerian international is proving why he’s highly rated in the Middle East, as it took him just six minutes into his debut to grab a goal for Al Wehda.

The Nigerian forward, who only featured for four minutes, inspired his new team. to a 3-0 win on Thursday during the Saudi Pro League Match Day 3 clash against Al Tai.

The forward is up and running for the season, as he capped off the scoring in a dominant away win for Al Wehda.

Fayçal Fajr produced Al Wehda’s opening goal at the Prince Abdul Aziz bin Musa’ed Stadium through a spot kick with just 11 minutes to the interval.

Saeed Al Mowalad doubled the lead 17 minutes into the second half of the game.

The 34-year-old Nigerian star scored six minutes after coming on as a substitute to seal their win over AL Tai in the Saudi Premier League.

It’s now two wins in a row for the Mecca-based side.

Recall that Ighalo scored 21 goals for Al Shabab and later produced over 31 goals for Al Hilal in all competitions; now he’s banging in more for Al Wehda.
