Nottingham Forest has secured the services of Super Eagles defender Ola Aina, who has officially signed a two-year deal with the club, with the option for an additional season.
The Nigerian starlet’s transfer to the City Ground comes after his contract with Serie A side Torino expired, making him a free agent and an enticing addition for the English club.
The deal was confirmed by Fabrizio Romano, who revealed that Ola Aina successfully finalized the move that promises to bolster Nottingham Forest’s defensive option.
Aina’s arrival aims to strengthen their defensive line ahead of the upcoming season. At just 24 years old, the defender brings a wealth of experience and versatility, adding depth to the team’s defensive options.
The two-year deal, with the option for a third season, means that Aina could potentially remain at Nottingham Forest until June 2026.
Aina will not be the only Nigerian at the City Ground, he will be joining fellow countrymen Taiwo Awoniyi and Emmanuel Dennis.
