Despite his affection for Abia Warriors, Nweke acknowledged his dedication to Rangers, urging fans and friends to lend their support to his current team.
Speaking on the NPFL Tori Podcast, the 24-year-old emphasized the honor of returning to face cherished individuals within the Abia Warriors setup.
“It’s a beautiful team that I love so much. It’s going to be an honour going back there to see some of the people I love in the team, even the fans, because I know they are going to welcome me,” he said
While he anticipates an exciting game, Nweke underlined his allegiance to Rangers.
“It’s going to be an exciting game, but one thing is sure: I’m now with Rangers. I’m expecting the fans to come out, my friends over there to come out and support Rangers, because I’m now with Rangers International,” he said.
