Henry Onyekuru continues to excel for Al-Fayha, showcasing his form as he scored another goal for his Saudi Arabian club during a significant away victory in the AFC Champions League.
The winger came off the bench to score for Al Fayha in their comfortable 4-1 away ACL victory at the Bunyodkor Stadium on Tuesday evening.
His late goal helped Al-Fayha pull through to the knockout round of the AFC Champions League after rallying from behind to claim a crucial win over Pakhtakor.
Pakhtakor, who opened the score in the tenth minute, demonstrated their seriousness as the Uzbekistan giants would have finished second in Group A with a win or draw.
However, Al-Fayha managed to put up a huge fighting spirit to score four goals, with Zambian forward Fashion Sakala scoring the equaliser just before halftime and later grabbing a brace at the death of the final whistle.
Sultan Mandash also had his name on the scoresheet, and the Nigerian star, Henry Onyekuru, banged in the third in the 85th minute before he was forced out of the encounter due to injury.
Despite featuring for just 30 minutes, Henry Onyekuru still managed to create two big chances, scoring one.
The goal is Onyekuru’s first ever in the AFC Champions League, as he has now scored six goals and two assists in 19 appearances for the Saudi side in all competitions.
