Super Falcons forward Gift Monday celebrated scoring another goal this season on her social media page after her team, UD Tenerife were held by Levante Las Palmas in a close match.

The thrilling encounter at the Football Field (Adeje) on Sunday evening saw the Super Falcons star hand her team the lead barely four minutes into the game.
Jessica Martínez’s late strike at the death of the final whistle made sure Levante Las Palmas shared the spoils.
After the game, the Nigerian international, who was glad to contribute a goal for her team, admitted that it was also a tough battle for them.
Gift was more than proud of her team’s efforts despite the outcome of the encounter, claiming that it could only get better.
Despite featuring for just 66 minutes in the game, the forward managed to produce two shots, with one finding the back of the net.
It’s now four goals under her belt in nine starts for UD Tenerife this season.
Gift Monday and her teammates, currently placed in the 8th spot with 20 points, will now be looking ahead to their next fixtures against Athletic Club in the Copa de la Reina quarterfinal on Wednesday.
