The 21-year-old forward stole the show, netting two goals in just three second-half minutes to propel UDG Tenerife to a memorable 2-1 win against Atletico Madrid.
In this historic match, the Nigeria international played a pivotal role, contributing two second-half goals that secured a significant win for José Ángel Herrera’s side over their more renowned rivals.
This exciting encounter featured four Super Falcons players, with Gift Monday the major headliner at the Adeje football field.
Esther Okoronkwo started the game alongside Monday in the home team’s lineup, while Rinsola Babajide substituted for Okoronkwo after halftime. Meanwhile, Rasheedat Ajibade could only start from the bench for Atletico Madrid.
