WIZKID Wizkid is a popular Nigerian singer and songwriter. His full name is Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun while his stage name is “Wizkid”. He was born on the 16th of July, 1990. He began his singing career at the age of eleven (11) and shortly after, in the same year (2001), he released a collaborative album with a musical group named “The Glorious Five”. The Glorious Five is a group he and a couple of his church friends formed.
Wizkid signed a record deal with Empire Mates Entertainment (E.M.E) in 2009. He rose to prominence after releasing one of his songs titled “Holla at Your Boy”. Which later won him the “Next Rated Award’ at the Headies 2010.
